Someone just pointed me to the advertisements for a Yukata Festival (summer kimono) that I modeled for last year.

Well, they used a picture of me walking with another woman in the advertisement! It was bad enough they forced me to walk with her (instead of solo) last year; I'm a married man!

Did you explain to your wife before-hand? If "yes", then you should have no problems. If "no", then that was damn stupid of you — you should always tell your wife what you're doing so there are no misunderstandings.

Anyway, where did this appear? A newspaper? Because depending on that, I would assume that it would smooth over rather quickly.

She was there at the festival last year. I thought I was walking alone, but at the last minute they paired us up. I mouthed, "I'm sorry!" about 10 times as we passed her. She didn't mind too much because she knew I didn't choose to walk as a couple. It turned out my partner was also in a relationship, so we apologized to her boyfriend too.

This was posted on the blog for the event this year. Someone posted it to Facebook, so of course my wife saw it, but we all had a "good" laugh in the end. I think I just like posting about stuff I do in Japan.
